The Apple Watch looks set to finally go on sale in stores, after the Cupertino company sent out a video to retail staff explaining how the device's retail rollout is set to pan out.

The clip, starring senior Apple retail chiefs Angela Ahrendts and Jim Bean, requests staff read new training materials that have arrived at Apple outlets. Ahrednts also urges employees to prepare for a ‘tougher’ launch compared to previous releases.

To this end, Apple is set to start offering a new Reserve and Pick-up option. This will go live daily at 8am, with customers able to check local Apple store stock and choose the model they want before going in–store to collect.

While there is no official date for the watch’s in–store release, Apple CEO Tim Cook said last month that it would be available on the high street in June.

Until now, consumers have had to buy online after trialling the device in one of Apple’s shops.

The Apple Watch is believed to have sold more than two million units in its first weekend, although official sales figures have yet to be released.
